5k Fun Run x Deschutes Brewery + Backwoods Brewing | Part of the 2025 Oregon Brewery Running Series

Join us for a fun-filled day of running, beer, and good vibes at Deschutes Brewery and Backwoods Brewing.

Lace up your running shoes - we've mapped out a 5k-ish course that starts and ends at this awesome taproom in NW Portland. Run, walk or jog before celebrating with a locally-made craft beverage at the finish line.

Whether you're a seasoned runner or just looking for a fun way to stay active, this event is fun for all. The 5k course will take you through scenic routes, allowing you to enjoy the beautiful surroundings while getting your heart pumping.

After crossing the finish line, reward yourself with a well-deserved pint of craft beer from TWO great local breweries, Deschutes Brewery and Backwoods Brewing. Nothing beats the feeling of accomplishment and the taste of a refreshing brew!

At Deschutes Portland Public House:

Enjoy your beer in a festive environment with holiday card-making, cookie decorating, and some tasty family-friendly fare. We will also be visited by the one and only Santa!

At Backwoods Brewing Portland Pub:

Walk across the street to enjoy a beer, killer food, live holiday music and a more laid-back vibe.

Our mission is to be active, have fun and give back. A portion of all proceeds from our events supports local nonprofits - over $500k raised to date! This event will add to that tally by donating 10% to the KGW Great Toy Drive. Both locations will also be collecting new, unwrapped toys. So not only do you get to enjoy some healthy activity and great, local beer - you are helping us support local organizations that do important work in our community.

The Oregon Brewery Running Series is happy to be back with another season of organizing 5K fun run/walk events at local breweries!
